I’m Ariel Lawhon, a critically acclaimed, New York Times bestselling author of historical fiction. I was raised by hippies in nowhere New Mexico, left home at sixteen, and married young (best decision of my life). My husband and I had four boys in five years (second best decision) which means there is an entire decade of my life that I don’t remember because the only thing I did was keep people alive.
